Marily Oppezzo, PhD, MS, RD
Marily Oppezzo, PhD, MS, RDN, DipACLM is a learning and behavioral scientist, an Instructor of Medicine with the Stanford Prevention Research Center, and a Wu Tsai Human Performance Clinician Scientist. Her training is in nutrition (as a Registered Dietitian with a Masters in Nutritional Science), physical activity (certified personal trainer, certified group exercise instructor, and cardiac rehab instructor), education (PhD in Educational Psychology), and behavior change (Post-Doctoral training at the Stanford Prevention Research Center). She is the head of the nutrition pillar at the Stanford Lifestyle Medicine.
Dr. Oppezzo’s research mission is to identify small but mighty ways to help people effectively integrate healthy behaviors into their life to improve their health and well-being.
