Yixin Wang, PhD

YIXIN WANG, PhD supporting Dr. Ying Chen Lab as a Research Engineer at the Stanford Prevention Research Center, with a strong academic and professional background in statistics and data analysis. She completed her Ph.D. in Economics, majoring in Statistics, from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE) in 2015, with a dissertation on nonparametric and semiparametric statistical analysis of residual life models with complex data. She also held a visiting PhD position in Biostatistics at the University of Washington.

 

Yixin Wang has worked as a Statistical Research Associate and Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, focusing on statistical analysis, survival models, and complex data applications. Her research interests include data analysis, survival analysis, residual life models, and measurement error, with multiple published papers in respected journals.

 

She has been awarded several research grants and honors, including the Outstanding PhD Dissertation Cultivation Fund of SUFE, and has presented at numerous international conferences. Wang is proficient in MATLAB, R, SAS, and Microsoft Excel. She is recognized for her strong research abilities, programming skills, and teamwork.
