Message from the Director
Welcome!
We appreciate your interest in Stanford’s Master of Science program in Community Health and Prevention Research (CHPR).
The CHPR MS degree program centers on the science of chronic disease prevention with in-class instruction on Stanford’s campus, faculty and peer-to-peer mentoring, and community partnership. We aim to disseminate prevention science to the workforce and to develop future leaders in community health.
The CHPR Program is based in the Stanford Prevention Research Center, in the Department of Medicine, in the School of Medicine, at Stanford University. Our teaching faculty are recognized leaders in community health and prevention research. Our community partners include innovators in health care, nonprofits advancing health equity, and dynamic Bay Area health technology companies.
We appreciate your interest in the CHPR MS program and encourage you to learn more about the scholarly objectives and requirements for admission.
